The Simulated Dementia Experience: Your Window Into Their World - The Simulated Dementia Experience is a hands-on virtual interaction created for anyone seeking to better understand the physical and mental challenges of those living with Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
After experiencing this sensory training, participants will gain an understanding of what kind of world dementia patients are trying to navigate and appreciate the difficult demands.
This unique, interactive program has been shown to improve communication and care.
Learning to create a positive environment for those with Alzheimer's and Dementia can only come from attempting to walk in their shoes.
Please bring items of clothing with buttons or zipper.
No Walk Ins. Registration Required. Limited Space. Please only register for either Wednesday, 5/29 or Thursday, 5/30 session, not both. Please contact our office if you are registered and unable to attend so we can notify wait lister.
